To experience the off-piste areas of the Atlas, riders (snowboard and ski) must have good off-piste experience and be prepared physically. They should be able to ski in all types of snow (powder, crust, spring snow, hard pack …) and on any terrain.
The off-piste riding in the program should not be considered “extreme skiing”, but some parts requires a good ability level and off-piste experience.
No assessment of the level of the riders will be made before the trip.
If the level of a rider is considered insufficient, the management reserves the right to ask the rider to leave the group.
In this case, the rider concerned would be able to stay in the helicopter and make the flights. No refunds will be made. This will also be applicable to riders who are tired or slightly injured.
You will be equipped with an ASB bag, shovel, probe and an ARVA.
Heli-skiing groups are made up as following:
To ensure you ski with people you know, organise groups of four or eight riders.
